On April 22, 2010 and May 5, 2010 the Louisiana Egg Commission served the Louisiana House of Representatives and Senate members ham & cheese omelets and strawberry filled crepes.  With the help of the Louisiana Poultry Industry, the Louisiana Dairy Industry, the Louisiana Strawberry Marketing Board and several volunteers from the Louisiana Department of Agriculture & Forestry over 500 plates were served at each breakfast.
